Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. The service
Kitchen Draft is a web application for laying out commercial kitchen equipment on floor-plan underlays, collaborating on those plans and issuing revisioned PDF drawings. The service is provided by [Company legal name] (ABN [ABN]) (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent.
2. Accounts and organisations
You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
The first user of an organisation becomes its billing administrator. Editors, collaborators and viewers invited into an organisation or project act under that organisation's subscription.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed per editor seat, in Australian dollars, on the cadence shown at checkout (monthly, quarterly or annual). Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store card details.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Seat changes are prorated by Stripe. If a renewal payment fails and is not remedied, access to editing features may be suspended.
Trial periods, where offered, convert to no plan at expiry: your data remains readable, and editing resumes when a subscription starts.
4. Your content
Plans, underlays, equipment libraries, comments and exports you upload or create remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to host, process, display and transmit that content solely to operate the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any material you upload, including architect drawings used as underlays.
Exported drawings are produced from data you control. We are not a party to any construction, compliance or procurement decision made from them — verify dimensions and regulatory compliance before relying on an issued drawing.
5. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to breach the service's security, access another organisation's data, resell the service, or use it to store unlawful material. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.
6. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and factors outside our control may cause downtime. Support is provided by email at [support email].
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the service in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time via the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. You may export your drawings before closing an account. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms with reasonable notice where practicable.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State], Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
